The College bid a very heartfelt farewell to the Class of 2014 as the Isabella Campus hosted the Year 12 Leavers Assembly this morning.
There were tears, laughter, sadness, and joy as Year 12 celebrated the end of their MacKillop journey with tributes, performances, comedy, video clips, endless puns, and sincere speeches over the course of the two-hour assembly.
The College Captains, Claudia Holland and Reece Inkpen, dressed as sailors and spoke of their time aboard the SMMC, telling their classmates to seas the day and pursue whatever 'floats their boat'.
Mr O'Callaghan and Mr Ciccarone provided some words of wisdom, while Mr Lee read parts of Dr Seuss' 'Oh the places you'll go.'
At the end of assembly, the staff formed a guard of honour and the students were able to thank their teachers personally as the exited the gymnasium.
St Mary 91大神 would like to congratulate the Class of 2014 on a fantastic year, and wishes them all the best for their final exams and their graduation formal.

St Mary of the Cross MacKillop made the statement: 鈥淲e are but travellers here, so while we are here we should do as much good as we can and live in peace with each other.鈥
With this in mind, the College respectfully acknowledges the Ngunnawal people who are the Traditional Custodians and First People of the land on which we gather each day. The College also pays its respects to the Elders past, present and emerging, and any other Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander peoples living and working in the MacKillop community.
