Year 11 students Avari Petersen and Harrison Angus have been named the 2024 College Captains following an election at the St Peter91大神 Campus.
The election, held on 20 September, saw 33 candidates present their case as they hoped to be elected to one of seven positions on offer.
The standard of candidates was extremely high and all 33 students are congratulated on the way they approached the application process. Each student attended a workshop, completed a written application, and attended an interview before delivering their speech to the St Peter91大神 Campus on the day of elections.
The results in each category were extremely close, with many positions going down to final preferences before a winner could be decided.
The College congratulates the successful candidates:
Congratulations to all candidates, particularly the seven students who were successful in gaining a leadership role. Our 2024 College Captains and Portfolio Captains will form a very high-quality leadership team. We wish them the best of luck for 2024!
